I have red sore which I have been told is ulcer on the right side on the roof of my mouth for about three days. Is there any over the counter products I should use? Or should I be worried it may be cancer?

Generally, red sore lesions that appear quickly are ulcers of some sort and can be treated with ora gel or other over the counter aids to numb the pain. Avoiding salty foods and pointed things like chips can also help.
There are red lesions that are cancerous or pre-cancerous, but if this resolves within two weeks it is most likely an ulcer.
