I have a bump/lump on my gums in the back of my mouth. Lower right side. what is this...

If it came up quickly then check to see if it is soft. If it is soft, check to see if the tooth next to it is sore. If so, this is probably infection and you should see your dentist.
If the bump is hard and not sore, it is probably bone and may have been there for a long time and you just noticed it. These are generally normal. If there is pus or bleeding you should contact your dentist.
