Roxanne is an experienced global human resources executive who drives business and talent transformations, and coaches teams on building and implementing innovative talent solutions.   An active Board Director, Roxanne currently spends her time advising start-up businesses, including Empirical; non-profits, including the national board of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA); and institutions of higher learning, including the D’Amore-McKim College of Business at Northeastern University in Boston.

Roxanne has received numerous accolades during her career, most recently by Fortune Magazine in 2017 and 2018 for being one of The 50 Most Powerful Latinas in the United States. The list, compiled by the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), spotlights women with significant operating roles who are leading large public companies. She was also recognized in 2018 as a Leading Latina in the US by Hispanic Executive magazine.
 
Most recently, Roxanne served as the Senior Vice President and Talent Officer for the U.S. region of Liberty Mutual’s Global Retail Markets business. Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, Liberty Mutual ranks as the fifth largest global property and casualty insurer with over $40 billion in annual consolidated revenue. They employ nearly 50,000 people in 30 countries around the world – with the U.S. region of Global Retail Markets producing in excess of $20B in revenue with 19,000 employees. Roxanne joined Liberty Mutual in 2005 and held multiple HR leadership positions in each of the company’s core business lines. An outspoken advocate for the benefits of diversity and inclusion in organizations, Roxanne was also the first executive sponsor of Amigos@Liberty – the company’s first employee resource group (ERG) dedicated to empowering Hispanic/Latino employees.
 
During her career, Roxanne has also served as a human resources management consultant and professional working for such companies as State Street, EMD Serono and Allaire/Macromedia.  Before concentrating on HR as an area of expertise, Roxanne was a management consultant with American Management Systems (AMS), a global technology and management consultancy, where she worked on business solutions for Fortune 500 financial services, life sciences, technology, and professional services companies.

Roxanne received a B.A. in Politics from Brandeis University and a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law. She is married and lives in Brookline, Massachusetts, with her husband, daughters and yellow lab.  Roxanne spends her spare time working on the Board of Directors for Brookline Soccer Club, being responsible for its youth development program, and coaching a girls youth travel team with her husband.
