Some services need approval before the dentist can perform them. This is called prior authorization. Services must be necessary in order for DentaQuest to pay for them.

Important Plan Documents and Links
DentaQuest community partners have exclusive access to our oral health resources to educate community members, connect them with oral health providers and help improve overall outcomes.
We use the Florida Medicaid Preferred Drug List (PDL). The PDL is the list of drugs that your provider will use when prescribing medicine. Your provider can prescribe most of these medicines to you without getting approval from us. The PDL is updated frequently.
