Citizenship Initiative Supporting Communities Where We Live and Work Being a good corporate citizen is the right thing to do for our members, our employees, our clients and partners, and our business. Corporate citizenship is integrated into every aspect of our work as we strive to fulfill our mission of improving the oral health of all. Here’s what we are doing: Employee Service: October is our “Mission Month.” Employees throughout the company contributed over 2100 hours in volunteer service just in October -- to a range of organizations, serving in food kitchens, building homes for Habitat for Humanity, restoring schools, and bringing smiles to the faces of children and senior citizens. During the year, citizenship committees in Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Florida, Texas, Maryland and South Carolina are involved with local organizations reinforcing their work by adopting families, donating food and clothing, and walking for visibility. During the month of October, Mission Month, employees contributed over 2100 volunteer hours at community organizations Raising the Roof, Habitat for Humanity Wisconsin Corporate Giving: The DentaQuest Foundation and DentaQuest Institute support oral health, community engagement, a strong dental care safety net, and oral health literacy with over $15 million annually in grants and in kind services. In addition, DentaQuest is contributing nearly $750,000 to charitable organizations this year. These contributions have worked to help individuals and organizations in need and reflect our ties to the communities in which we live and work.
