Member Benefits

Your child receives statewide coverage for the following services:

  • Exam cleanings and fluoride treatments
  • X-rays, fillings, crowns, and root canals
  • Teeth removal and other medically necessary treatments

What services are not covered?

  • Services that are not needed for dental health 
  • Cosmetic dental care 
  • General anesthesia or intravenous/conscious sedation 
  • Orthodontia (braces)

Your Member ID Card

You received an ID card in the mail. You need to show your ID card every time you see your dentist. You may want to keep the ID card in your wallet or take a picture of it and store it in your smartphone.

Update Your Information

You May Need to Update and Renew Your Medicaid or CHIP Benefits.

DentaQuest wants to prepare you for an important deadline that may affect your Medicaid coverage. Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) is reviewing your Medicaid benefits account. They may need more information from you to confirm that you are still eligible.
