Prevention

  • Oral exams - once every six months
  • Dental cleanings - once every six months
  • Bitewing x-rays - three every 12 months
  • Fluoride - once every six months

Treatments

  • Fillings - one every 24 months
  • Crowns - one every 60 months
  • Dentures - one every 96 months
  • Extractions (tooth removal) - one per tooth, per lifetime
  • Root canals - one per tooth, per lifetime
  • Root canal re-treats - once per lifetime, per tooth
  • Gingivectomy - once every 12 months
