Member Benefits

Prevention

  • Oral exams (every six months)
  • Bitewing x-rays (three every 12 months)
  • Dental cleanings (every 6 months)
  • Fluoride (every 6 months)

Treatments

  • Fillings – (one per 24 months)
  • Crowns – (one per 60 months)
  • Root canals (one per tooth per lifetime)
  • Extractions (tooth removal) (one per tooth per lifetime)
  • Periodontics – (one per 24 months, same quadrant)
  • Dentures – (one per 96 months)
  • Implants (one per tooth, per lifetime)

Additional

  • Orthodontia (braces) (one per lifetime for members of NY MetroPlus Child Medicaid plan only)
