Miles Yakre

As Chief Financial Officer of DentaQuest, Miles Yakre leads the finance organization across Sun Life’s dental and vision business. Previously, Miles served as Chief Financial Officer of Sun Life’s Group Benefits and National Accounts businesses since 2017.

Miles was CFO of Assurant Employee Benefits (AEB) from 2008 until its acquisition by Sun Life in 2016. He managed the integration of AEB after acquisition, which included more than 1,500 employees and thousands of group benefits clients. Previously, Miles was Chief Actuary at AEB, and held other roles in actuarial and finance at Assurant.

Miles has a Bachelor of Science in economics with a concentration in actuarial science from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
