Community Spotlight

Brother Bill's Helping Hand (BBHH) has helped people in West Dallas for over 80 years. They provide food, health care, education and social support.

BBHH’s food store serves more than 300 families each week. It’s stocked with fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and pantry items. In 2024, they gave away more than 3.2 million pounds of food across North Texas. Their Produce RX program helps people manage health issues through healthy eating.

Their clinic helps people who do not have health insurance. They offer basic doctor visits, women's care, vision care and help for long-term health issues. The clinic sees thousands of patients and saves money on emergency room costs. They also offer mental health counseling, diabetes education and cooking classes to help people stay healthy.

PathWays offers job training and classes for kids and adults. They also provide social services to help neighbors build brighter futures.

BBHH has 30 staff members and over 7,000 volunteers. They work with groups like the North Texas Food Bank to build a healthier, stronger Dallas. Anyone can visit or help out!

Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) is a traveling dental clinic event that provides free dental care such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions for people in need.
