NEW YORK — Steven Barefoot, DDS, clinical manager, value-based payments at DentaQuest, will be leading a session focused on value-based care (VBC) at the 2021 New York Health Plan Association Annual Conference.
At DentaQuest, Barefoot provides clinical input to develop new care programs, manages the design of quality measures, and responds to questions from providers participating in value-based programs. On Wednesday, November 17, Barefoot will present Innovative Insights for Understanding VBC in Dental Practices and will take questions along with Rebekah Mathews, MPA, director of value-based care, CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, Jennifer Munnik, managing client partner, DentaQuest, and Tricia Bell, managing provider partner, DentaQuest, to discuss the value-based care payment model that offers providers financial incentives for the use of preventive practices.
This year’s conference, How Do We Ensure Innovation is Accessible to All, will take place as a virtual online event, focusing on the approaches and barriers to ensuring that advances in technology and treatment are available to all individuals.
